IMPORTANT CLASSES UPDATE – PART 1

IMPORTANT CLASSES UPDATE – PART 1

Hi everyone. What a week we’ve had! I hope that you are doing as well as possible during this difficult time.

Please watch the video for a full update, and also read the summary below…

1. Barnsley Academy is closed until further notice

This means no circuits classes on Mondays and Wednesdays until anything changes

2. Saturday running class (tomorrow) – Goes ahead as normal 🙂

We have a small group, we are outdoors, we are spaced out a lot during the session. The only difference is that we will follow the recommended advice of staying around 2 metres apart.

3. At the end of this week your “official” bootcamp classes are on hold – We are currently in week 4 out of 6

When we have less restrictions we will carry on where we left off.

4. We are still going to keep exercising and keep fit and healthy – Yes you can’t get out of it that easily 🙂

This is not the time to sit on your sofa for weeks or months while you lose health and fitness, and maybe stick on weight. This is not the time to go backwards physically and mentally!

You have put in lots of time and effort with your classes and made excellent progress. We will keep exercising, even for people who are stuck in their house. I will aim to help you ALL!

This could be having more outdoor running classes, like Saturdays. It could be indoor classes online that you can do from home. It could be both.

For now, I recommend that you save things like milk cartons, fruit juice bottles, and anything you can lift. We may end up having some fun with indoor classes from home, including some household items.

5. How can I help YOU?

Please let me know what ways I can help you now and over the coming days and weeks.

For the people who are affected financially don’t worry at all about money or paying for anything. I’m going to help you even if you are really struggling.

Send me your Facebook comments/messages, emails, texts, or phone calls. Let me know what you want and need and I will do my very best to help you!

NEXT UPDATE

Things are changing quickly. The above is my plan so far.

I will monitor what happens over the next few days, listen to the feedback you give me, and I will give you the next update on Sunday.

I hope that everything goes as well as it can for you and your family over the next few days everyone. I look forward to seeing you soon!

James
