“Before I started at the fitness bootcamp I was unhappy with my weight, my fitness and generally with the way I felt about myself.
I had attempted running before but with very little success. Quite frankly I found it boring and soon gave up. Then I saw the fitness bootcamp on Facebook and decided to bite the bullet and give it a go, and I’m so glad I did.
Since I started I have gone from being able to barely run for 1 minute at a time to being able to run for longer with less breaks. This is down to the way the James has devised the run/walk sessions.
There are many different abilities at bootcamp, from people who have started at the bottom and are working their way up like me, to those who are already experienced runners. We are all different ages and everyone works at their own pace and nobody is pushed beyond their capabilities.
Running has helped me gain confidence, improved my fitness, and I have lost size and improved my body shape. I have made some brilliant friends since I started and we all encourage each other.
If anyone is thinking about joining, don’t think, just do it. You won’t regret it, I haven’t. It was the best decision I’ve made in a while!”
