“I decided to join the bootcamp because I wanted to lose weight and get fitter. I’d cancelled my gym membership a few months before because I just wasn’t seeing any results and had lost all motivation.
Turning up for the first bootcamp session was the hardest bit, but the group was lovely and really supportive – most people were in exactly the same situation!
I started off right at the bottom, doing one minute runs and I never would have thought that within about 8 weeks I’d be able to run for half an hour with no rest!
I’m also doing the indoor circuit sessions and each week I can see an improvement in my fitness and performance. James pushes you just enough to keep you progressing but not so much that you burn out.
I’d advise anyone thinking of joining bootcamp to go for it. We’re a friendly bunch and there are often new starters, so you won’t be on your own. Once you’ve made a start – stick at it. The weeks go by really quickly and you’ll be amazed at how quickly you progress.
I’m really glad I did it – I’m so much fitter, my clothes fit a lot better, and I’ve met some fab people!”
